NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Releases Valuable Resources to Illustrate IMPACT of CDC and ASPR

The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) has released two valuable resources for local, state and federal partners as well as policy makers to illustrate the impact of CDC Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) and ASPR Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) funds. Please share these resources with your colleagues:

1) Impact Stories – A full set of “stories” that highlight public health and healthcare capabilities that contribute to a successful emergency response.

2) Mass Prophylaxis Video – A 3-minute video (with footage from NYC’s full-scale mass prophylaxis exercise, RAMPEx, held in August 2014) shows the significant medical countermeasure capability NYC has built over the last decade thanks to federal funding.
