Newly Released: Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Center Toolkit Inventory

The Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Centers (PERRCs) conducted research to evaluate the structure, capabilities, and performance of public health systems for preparedness and emergency response. This research has been translated into toolkits designed to facilitate the work of state and local public health agencies in preparedness efforts. Developed by Harvard University along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH), the toolkit inventory is now available at this link. The guide was produced with the scope of disseminating PERRC research findings and promising practices to knowledge users (researchers, decision-makers, practitioners, public health departments’ workforce, and public health system partners) to enhance preparedness processes and strengthen the competence of the public health workforce.
