National Call: Vector Control Activities

December 6, 2016 @ 3:00 am - 4:30 pm

NACCHO in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is hosting a national call to foster dialogue and improved awareness on the topic of vector control activities. Participants will hear from local health jurisdictions and mosquito control districts on Zika response activities, vector control decision making, and policy changes. Additionally, CDC subject matter experts will discuss vector control, epidemiology, and laboratory capacity.

Local health officials, vector control experts, and national partners are strongly encouraged to attend. There will be an opportunity to ask questions following the teleconference, but participants can also submit questions in advance to preparedness@naccho.org on topics or areas where additional information or clarification is currently needed. Due to a limited amount of available telephone lines, individuals dialing in from the same agency are asked to listen in groups.
