CDC Anthrax Kickoff Meeting

Highlights: NACCHO and CDC are collaborating on a new project based upon the recently updated clinical recommendations for the prophylaxis and treatment of anthrax. The project is geared towards examining issues around these topics tailored for mass casualty events. The project seeks to develop clinical algorithms for the evaluation and triage of patients, define alternative diagnostic and treatment strategies, and provide a prioritization schema for the use of medical countermeasures.
