APHA’s Get Ready Campaign Makes Preparedness Fun

Does your LHD struggle with encouraging preparedness among the general public? APHA’s Get Ready Campaign has been working since 2009 to increase adoption of preparedness practices through entertaining videos, social media resources, and information geared toward the general public. Many of the resources are designed to be easily shareable on social media platforms. APHA’s latest endeavor Recipes for Disaster: An Emergency Preparedness Cookbook features the best recipes gathered through a contest that challenged participants to create delicious meals without electricity or gas. Find videos and e-cards to share through your LHD’s social media channels as part of National Preparedness Month!
