Webinar: Lessons from the Fertilizer Plant Explosion in West, Texas

The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice (NWCPHP) hosted a 1-hour webinar with Bruce Clements from the Texas Department of State Health Services as part of its Hot Topics in Practice series. The webinar explored the rural health emergency implications of the West, TX, fertilizer plant explosion. Clements discusses the damage from the explosion, triage, mutual aid response, managing the aggressive media, walking wounded, field hospitals, and portable morgue units.
