Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) June Report

During the month of June, NACCHO staff held final review calls to determine the recognition status of three PPHR resubmission applications from the fall 2013 review. All three agencies achieved full recognition status and were sent their recognition materials. NACCHO staff provided technical assistance to fall 2014 applicants, including answering questions that arose out of their in-state technical reviews. Staff also began recruiting reviewers for the 2014 review cycle. The recruitment period will extend through July 16.

NACCHO staff continue to work with additional states to implement the PPHR state-supported model.  In June, these efforts included an in-person presentation at the Nevada Public Health Preparedness Partners Meeting in Washoe, NV and planning for a PPHR Meet and Greet lunch to take place on July 9 during NACCHO Annual in Atlanta.
