Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) December Report

PPHR conducted final review calls with each review team in December to finalize the scores and comments for each application. NACCHO concluded the fall 2013 PPHR review cycle by recognizing 12 agencies from Florida and Tennessee, including two previously recognized agencies that earned PPHR re-recognition. These agencies will be honored in a reception at the 2014 Preparedness Summit in Atlanta in April. Nearly 400 LHDs are now PPHR-recognized either individually or as part of a region.  Information on the recognized agencies has also been posted on the PPHR website.

Staff also issued guidance documents to the fall 2014 applicants from Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, and Tennessee, and continue to provide technical assistance as they work on their applications.
