During the month of December, NACCHO staff facilitated PPHR final review calls with each review team to finalize their reassessed scores and comments based on the new application materials all 36 applicants provided. Staff also worked to develop recognition materials for each applicant based on the outcome of their review. Applicants will be notified of their recognition status in early January, and recognized agencies will be honored at a reception at the 2016 Preparedness Summit in Dallas, TX in April. Agencies that did not receive full recognition will begin the resubmission process.
In addition, NACCHO staff have begun planning the Annual PPHR State Lead Meeting to be held in Washington, DC from February 23, 2016 – February 24, 2016. Staff have also been working to provide technical assistance to 2016 applicants, state leads, and reviewers. NACCHO continues to promote PPHR and PPHR re-recognition to prospective applicants for future review cycles.
