During the month of December, NACCHO staff facilitated PPHR final review calls with each review team to finalize their reassessed scores and comments based on the new application materials all 33 applicants provided. Staff also worked to develop recognition materials for each applicant based on the outcome of their review. Applicants will be notified of their recognition status in early January, and recognized agencies will be honored at a reception at the 2015 Preparedness Summit in Atlanta in April.
In addition, NACCHO staff have been working to provide technical assistance to 2015 applicants, state leads, and reviewers. NACCHO staff are also in the initial stages of developing a mentorship SharePoint site that will allow for collaboration between previously recognized agencies and PPHR applicants applying for recognition. NACCHO continues to promote PPHR and PPHR re-recognition to prospective applicants for future review cycles.
