Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) August Report

Throughout the month of August, NACCHO staff provided technical assistance to 33 applicants from six states to ensure the timely submission of their PPHR applications by the August 29 deadline.  All applications were received on time.  Staff also finalized the list of reviewers for the fall review cycle, conducted an orientation, issued a training assessment, and finalized reviewer team and application assignments.  Application reviews begin September 2.

Staff also worked with NACCHO’s Preparedness Planning, Outcomes and Measurement Workgroup to finalize updates to the PPHR criteria.  Version 7.1 of the PPHR criteria and version 2.1 of the PPHR re-recognition criteria will be released in early September.
