The National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) has assembled a communications toolkit with resources from CDC and other organizations for National Immunization Awareness Month in August. The toolkit includes key messages, multimedia, social media messages, infographics, press releases and more. With outbreaks of measles and other vaccine preventable diseases on the rise, increasing awareness about the importance of vaccines for people of all ages can help local health departments increase community resilience. The toolkit features materials for each week in August:
- August 3-9: A Healthy Start–Babies and Pregnant Women
- August 10-16: Back to School–Children, Preteens, and Teens
- August 17-23: Off to the Future–Young Adults
- August 24-30: Not Just for Kids–Adults
