Tools and Resources to Assist with the Completion of the MCM ORR

October 14, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

As part of the CDC’s Second Wednesday Webinar series, presenters from NACCHO, the New York State Department of Health, and the Knox County Health Department in Illinois will present on tools and resources that state and local health departments can use to assist with the completion the Medical Countermeasure Operational Readiness Review (MCM ORR). NACCHO will present on a crosswalk that links the Project Public Health Ready Application (PPHR) criteria to relevant MCM ORR functional elements. New York will present on a crosswalk that links the former Technical Assistance Review (TAR) to the ORR and provides a scoring sheet to quantify level of implementation across functional elements. Knox County will present a crosswalk that links the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) Application to relevant sections of the ORR. These crosswalk tools can all be used to help states and locals to use previous assessments and applications to identify relevant documentation to submit for the ORR. Additionally, viewers will learn more about these accreditation and recognition processes and how they can leverage them to help fulfill their ORR requirements.
