The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of State and Local Readiness (DSLR) training team will provide the second of three online training sessions for the RealOpt computer modeling system on February 23, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM/ET. The RealOpt system can help medical countermeasure (MCM) planners design points-of-dispensing (POD) sites and treatment clinics. By attending this three-hour virtual instructor-led training, participants will gain a better understanding of the functions of the RealOpt computer modeling program and its usefulness in validating POD throughput rates and staff resource allocations.
POD managers, local and state MCM planners, and other preparedness staff are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this training opportunity by enrolling through CDC Train. This session is limited to no more than 15 participating sites, so interested staff (especially PHEP awardees) should register as soon as possible.
Registered participants will receive a calendar invite two weeks prior to their selected training session with instructions on logging in to the virtual course and submitting a request for the RealOpt software. Register now for the February session or the additional training date on March, 23.
