The Johnson County Department of Health & Environment with support form the Department of Health and Human Services will host a free-in person training on May 9-10, 2017 in Overland Park, KS. This two-day event aims to convene leaders in public health, emergency response, preparedness and healthcare professionals from across the country to learn how highly infectious disease outbreaks are contained and managed in the state of Kansas.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with local, state and federal partners to share Kansas-specific information on how to plan for disease outbreaks and maintain readiness in their own jurisdiction. Continuing Education credits will be offered.
