Improving National Health Security: How Local Health Departments are Making a Difference

The National Health Security Strategy (NHSS) provides a call to action for community, local, state, tribal, and federal agencies to improve health security. During this webinar, presenters from local health departments will describe how different preparedness activities in their jurisdictions are helping them to achieve the strategic objectives outlined in the NHSS. From Zika prevention and community preparedness efforts to Ebola response, presenters will share how projects they have been implementing directly align with the NHSS, demonstrating how agencies can and are already operationalizing the NHSS.
