CDC Second Wednesday Webinar: What’s Law Got to Do with It?

The next Second Wednesday Webinar is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., EDT, on Wednesday, April 11. DSLR will partner with the Office for State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial Support for the second part of a three-part legal series titled “What’s Law Got to Do with It?” The April 11 webinar will explore the role of the Federal Drug Administration in supporting the emergency use of medical countermeasures (MCMs). This webinar will also feature a discussion of related legal authorities to illustrate how state law can affect the distribution of MCMs to members of the public. Jurisdictions are encouraged to invite their health department’s MCM coordinators and legal staff to join this webinar.
