The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) was engaged throughout the domestic response to the Ebola outbreak, and as of this April, 169 MRC units have reported 180 Ebola-related activities. The activities ranged from providing Ebola-related health education, maintaining situational awareness, providing contact and suspect-case screening support, staffing call centers, and providing general epidemiology and surveillance support. This August, the DCVMRC released a report of the 2014 MRC Ebola Response. The report highlights more than 14,000 hours of volunteer activities. Read the full report.
