CDC Quarterly Partners Meeting

On Feb. 27, CDC convened the first quarterly partners meeting of 2014. The meetings are designed to bring several organizations together, including ASTHO, American Public Health Association, Association of Public Health Laboratories, CDC, NACCHO, and Trust for America’s Health to coordinate programmatic and advocacy initiatives. Some of the topics discussed during the meeting were the National Public Health Security Index, meaningful use regarding electronic health records, and CDC’s new operational readiness assessment for medical countermeasure distribution and dispensing.
