CDC Launches New Radiation Emergency Preparedness Page

Recently, the CDC released an updated webpage focusing on radiation emergencies. The revised website features action items to take during radiation emergencies and information for both the general public and public health professionals. In addition, the site features a Radiation Emergency Resources Library with a broad collection of useful resources ranging from videos to fact sheets to presentations. These resources come from a wide variety of entities, including FEMA, the EPA, the National Alliance on Radiation Readiness and the CDC. The updated webpage was presented to public health communicators during the National Public Health and Information Coalition (NPHIC) Symposium in Chicago, Illinois on September 24, 2013
